Autofocus (AF)

FA refers to the ability of a camera to automatically adjust and focus lens in a framed picture. Operates by using a series of zero points of discussion on the subject, then small engines automatically position the lens in good accent. The number of points of focus of a camera can generally
increases the more expensive the camera.
The cameras can be equipped with both types of autofocus systems: Autofocus autofocus a liability or asset. Although the mechanism uses passive sensors to detect the contrast of light, activated using the laser autofocus programmed to calculate the distance of the image and then adjust the lens accordingly.
Almost all digital cameras today are equipped with an auto focus mode and focus manually.
Pentax ME-F Although first developed autofocus in 1981, has become a standard feature on consumer cameras until 1985. However, all manufacturers of consumer cameras adopted the autofocus mechanism. Although Cannon and Minolta autofocus immediately made a feature of your camera, Nikon and Pentax resisted. To date, both Nikon and Pentax cameras still produce manual.
Photos taken with an autofocus camera, however, may lack some of the features associated with images of hand-held camera. Experts agree that pictures taken with AF have a worse resolution and color depth in its continued lack of field. Similarly, automatic focusing cameras typically have less open environments. Therefore, the FA can limit the extent to which a photographer can manipulate pictures.
