Fill-Flash

Fill flash photography refers a method to take pictures where flash is used in bright light to go into the details located in the shadows. Fill flash is typically used for shooting outdoors in full sun. Many cameras have a fill flash method that triggers the flash of the camera,
regardless of the amount of light available.
Fill flash can also be used to increase the light of a shot that is backlit, so it is again a way to reduce shadows. When you think your film will be underexposed, use fill flash to improve the amount of film captures light. By adding light to a scene, the colors of the printed photo will be much brighter.
